San Ramon Among Best Places In CA To Retire: New Rankings
Tri-Valley — and the Bay Area — swept a WalletHub ranking of the best Golden State cities for retirees. See which city got the top spot.
SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon was ranked as the third best place to retire in California, according to newly released rankings from WalletHub.
Tri-Valley held its own on the list, with Danville and San Ramon appearing in the top 10 and Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore making the top 30 spots. Just to the north, Walnut Creek came in at #4.
The Bay Area swept nine of the top 10 spots, with Yorba Linda in Orange County coming in at number 10.

Los Gatos and Los Altos took the number one and two spots, respectively — though Los Gatos was among the cities with the highest adjusted cost of living, according to WalletHub.
The financial services website analyzed quality of life, health care, activities, property crime and other factors to compile the rankings.

San Ramon ranked #3 in the state when it came to quality of life, #20 in the health care category and #175 in the activities category.
