San Ramon Boy, 15, Leads Cops On Chase in Parent's Car Before Being Found in Bushes With Girl: Police
Police said the teenage boy and his 13-year-old female passenger were found hiding in the bushes after abandoning his parent's car.

SAN RAMON, CA — A 15-year-old boy who was allegedly driving his parent’s car without permission was arrested after leading officers on a brief chase in San Ramon Thursday night, police officials said.
“We received a call regarding a reckless vehicle driving with no lights,” San Ramon Police Sergeant Pat Cerruti said in a statement. “Short time later, a San Ramon officer saw a vehicle matching description speeding with no tail lights.”
According to police, when the officer tried to stop the car, the driver gave chase.

“The officer located the vehicle abandoned off of Red Willow Road,” Cerruti said. “The driver and passenger were found hiding in bushes.”
A 13-year-old female passenger was released to her parents and the 15-year-old San Ramon boy was arrested on suspicion of evading a peace officer and being an unlicensed driver. He was released to his parents.
