Victims Of Dublin Solo Crash ID'ed: Coroner
Two Dougherty Valley High School graduates aged 25 and 23 were named as the victims of a fiery crash on Dougherty Road Tuesday night.

SAN RAMON, CA — Two San Ramon brothers were named as the victims of a fiery solo crash in Dublin Tuesday night that split the car in two and killed both drivers.
Adam Rasheed, 25, and Khaleed Rasheed, 23, both graduates of Dougherty Valley High School, were named by police and the Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau as the victims of the crash. Adam was driving along Dougherty Road in Dublin Tuesday night when his car crashed into a tree and pole, caught fire, and split in two, according to Captain Gurvinder Gosal of Dublin Police Services.
Authorities pronounced both men dead at the scene, according to numerous reports. Gosal said they believed excessive speed may have been a factor, and continue to investigate potential other causes.

Southbound Dougherty Road will be closed from Fall Creek Road to Willow Creek Drive from 7-11 a.m. on Saturday so that police can continue their investigation, Dublin Police Services said Friday.
Community members visited the scene of the crash Thursday evening to leave flowers and messages to a roadside memorial, NBC News reported.
