San Ramon Local Curfew In Effect From June 2 Until Further Notice

Emergency Service Director issued curfew for City of San Ramon from 8 p.m.–5 a.m. daily, effective beginning June 3 until further notice.

The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors has passed a proclamation of local emergency and a curfew in Contra Costa County from 8 p.m.–5 a.m., effective immediately until further notice.

Exemptions include individuals traveling to and from work, authorized representatives of any news service, peace officers, firefighters, people experiencing homelessness, and individuals seeking medical treatment.

In addition, on June 2, 2020, the San Ramon City Manager, acting in his capacity as Emergency Services Director, issued a proclamation of emergency and a curfew for the City of San Ramon from 8 p.m.–5 a.m. daily, effective beginning June 3 until further notice.

Exemptions include individuals traveling to and from work, authorized representatives of any news service, peace officers, firefighters, individuals seeking or providing medical care or care for family members or others, and persons experiencing homelessness.

This proclamation will be ratified by the City Council in the coming week.

Both the Contra Costa County curfew and the City of San Ramon curfew apply to San Ramon residents, and the City or County curfew could end at different times.

Any changes will be posted on the City of San Ramon's website, and shared via email and social media.
