San Ramon Police Seize 60 Grams Of Suspected Narcotics

San Ramon police say they seized fentanyl, meth and cocaine out of a car reported stolen out of Southern California.

SAN RAMON, CA — Police officers seized 60 grams of suspected narcotics in San Ramon early Tuesday morning, including fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine.

At around 4:30 a.m., San Ramon police officers working the graveyard shift located a vehicle reported stolen out of Southern California, according to a department Facebook post. Officers say they found 60 grams of illegal narcotics while searching the vehicle. The three people inside were booked into a county jail on charges of a stolen vehicle, possession of narcotics for sale, and outstanding felony warrants.

The car was towed and will be returned to its owner, police said.

Last Thursday, San Ramon police joined the Central County SWAT Team and personnel from several other local police departments to execute a “high-risk” search and arrest warrant operation. The operation, which was led by the San Francisco Police Department, uncovered a slew of machine guns, according to an SRPD report.
