San Ramon PPE Donation Drive To Benefit Health Care Workers
From now through Thursday, donations can be dropped off at San Ramon City Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
SAN RAMON, CA—From now through Thursday, Contra Costa Health Services is accepting donations of protective equipment and supplies for use by health care providers, child care/family centers and patients in need throughout the county.
Businesses and residents are encouraged to donate only the following types of protective medical supplies:
- Eye protection, such as goggles and face shields
- Antibacterial and disinfecting wipes, typically alcohol or bleach-based (unopened). NO baby wipes.
- N95 and surgical masks (unused)
- Waterproof gowns, coveralls and sleeved aprons
- Hand-sewn cloth masks
Donations will also be distributed to emergency child care/family care centers throughout the county who are providing child care specifically to children of our essential work force:

- Toilet paper
- Paper towels
- Surgical type gloves
- Household grade disinfectant spray
- Household grade disinfectant wipes
- Child-sized fabric masks/surgical masks
The following items will be distributed to patients in need who test positive for COVID-19:
- New pillows (in packaging)
- New blankets (in packaging)
- New shower shoes
- Sweatshirts (clean)
