Sprinkles Cupcakes Coming To Tri-Valley

SAN RAMON, CA — Popular Southern California-based Sprinkles Cupcakes is planning to open its second Bay Area location in Tri-Valley at the City Center Bishop Ranch shopping center in San Ramon. City Center Bishop Ranch also announced a Patelco Credit Union, Madison Reed Color Bar salon and World Wrapps restaurant will open stores there.

The stores are expected to open later this year in the 300,000-square-foot center, according to a press release from City Center Bishop Ranch.

Sprinkles Cupcakes first opened in Beverly Hills in 2005 and became a hit in years to come with its cupcake ATMs and more than 40 locations. The Patelco Credit Union will have a community room that opens into Sprinkles, City Center Bishop Ranch announced in a press release.

Madison Reed Color Bar is a color-only salon that sells products, and offers color service and free consultations.

World Wrapps sells wrap sandwiches and drinks such as boba milk teas, thai coconut iced tea and mango lassi. The chain was founded in San Francisco in 1995, according to the press release.

“From the outset, our vision for City Center Bishop Ranch has been to fill it with a variety of interesting shops, restaurants and entertainment, which we believed in turn would make the center a magnet for the region,” said Alex Mehran Jr., president and CEO of Sunset Development Company, in a press release. “With their focus on outstanding products and on warmly welcoming community members into their stores, these four new merchants fit the bill and will add exciting new choices for guests.”
