Suspected Prostitutes Arrested for Robbing San Ramon Man at Pleasanton Motel 6
The male victim solicited adult services on a website, later changing his mind and refusing to pay the prostitutes.

Information released by Pleasanton Police Department:
On October 22 at about 4:37 P.M., Pleasanton Police responded to Motel 6, 5102 Hopyard Rd. for a possible robbery. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the male victim who resides in San Ramon. The victim stated he had solicited adult services on the website, “backpage.com” for $200.00.
Backpage.com is a website that is commonly used to solicit prostitution. The victim arrived at the room and was met by three subjects and decided he didn’t want to follow through with the online arrangement. The subjects then demanded he still pay the $200.00 that was agreed upon.

The victim refused to pay and one of the subjects, later identified as Alexis Venable, produced a “stun gun” and used it to assault/shock the victim while continuing to demand payment. A second subject later identified as Harmoney Peters, produced a second “stun gun” and threatened to assault the victim if he did not pay the money owed to them. While being shocked by the “stun gun” a third subject, identified as Daniel Castrillo stole the victim’s cell phone.
All three subjects were arrested for robbery and were booked at Santa Rita Jail.

Pleasanton Police Dept. warns citizens that soliciting adult services on websites such as backpage.com can often lead to being victimized by criminal activity.
