Suspects Steal Car, San Ramon Ulta Beauty Merchandise: SRPD
San Ramon police say two suspects took large amounts of merchandise from Ulta into a stolen vehicle.

SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon police arrested two suspects on charges of stealing a car and a large amount of merchandise from Ulta.
The SRPD’s new Organized Retail Theft Suppression Team received a tip that a vehicle used in recent thefts from a local retailer was in the area. Officers arrived at Ulta Beauty and contacted the vehicle and its occupants as they left the store.
An investigation found that the duo had just stolen a large amount of merchandise from the store, police allege. Police also say that the vehicle was stolen.

Both suspects were booked at the Martinez Detention Facility on felony charges, and the vehicle and property were returned, police said. No further information was provided regarding suspect identity.
Local Ulta Beauty stores have seen a number of shoplifting incidents in recent months. In August, two suspects stole $1,500 in merchandise. In February, Danville police apprehended a fleeing car carrying three suspects believed to have stolen over $3,400 in merchandise from the store.

Earlier that month, Dublin police responded to reports of theft of $1500 at an Ulta on Dublin Boulevard. Numerous agencies eventually helped track down a suspect with an AR-15, and more than $1 million worth of additional stolen items, according to Dublin Police Services.
