Tri-Valley Reaches Out To Firefighters, Evacuees: Kincade Fire
If you know someone or a business working to help first responders and/or evacuees impacted by the Kincade Fire, let Patch readers know.

TRI-VALLEY, CA — When Curry Up Now announced it was opening a restaurant location in San Ramon early next year, that was good news to tastebuds across the Tri-Valley.
But on Tuesday the eatery known for its Indian Street Food made news of a different kind. One of its colorful food trucks rolled out to serve free Tikka Masala Burritos to crews staged at the Petaluma Fire Department who are battling the Kincade Fire in Sonoma County. The Curry Up Now truck then rolled to the Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa to serve free eats to first responders staged at there.
"The truck will serve as many burritos as they can until supplies run out," said spokesperson Kathryn Kelly. The aim is 200 burritos on Tuesday.

Curry Up Now is not alone. During her off-duty hours Tuesday night, Pleasanton police Lt. Maria Munayer is driving to Petaluma to drop off much-needed items to sheltered fire evacuees.
"I'm asking my Pleasanton community to help me gather supplies," Munayer said.
