1. *The Santa Clarita Valley 'Where Quilts And Friendships Bloom' Quilt Show (hometownstation.com) — A big fall outing is coming to the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center, where the local quilt guild will showcase more than 100 handmade quilts alongside a car show, food trucks, and raffles on October 24–25. With affordable admission, free parking, and demonstrations throughout both days, it’s an easy weekend event for Santa Clarita residents of all ages to drop in and enjoy. 
2. Sept. 19: Mental Health Hook Up Stop the Stigma at Henry Mayo (scvnews.com) — A free “Stop the Stigma” mental health fair is happening this Saturday, Sept. 19, at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Valencia, connecting Santa Clarita Valley residents with low-cost services and local providers. Families can hear from experts, enjoy music and activities, and learn about resources in a supportive, stigma-free setting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
3. Nominations Open for 2026 VIA Bash Awards (scvnews.com) — Local businesses and volunteers in the Santa Clarita Valley are being honored through the 2026 VIA Bash Awards, and nominations are open now through Sept. 29. Residents and VIA members can spotlight standout companies and community contributors, then celebrate the winners at the VIA Bash “Boots & Bowties” Cowboy Ball on Nov. 6 in Valencia.
4. Santa Clarita Kings Day Takes Over Crypto.com Arena (hometownstation.com) — Santa Clarita is organizing a special Kings Day trip to Crypto.com Arena on December 5, giving local residents grouped seating, a Woodstock bobblehead giveaway, and free skate passes to The Cube with each ticket. If you’re a hockey fan, you can buy tickets through the city website and sit near fellow Santa Clarita Valley neighbors while cheering on the Kings.
