• Central Coast under a heat advisory Wednesday and Thursday (fresnobee.com) — A heat advisory from the National Weather Service will bring 85 to 105 degree temperatures to the Santa Susana Mountains and surrounding Ventura County areas from Wednesday morning through Thursday evening. Residents in and around Santa Susana should limit strenuous outdoor activity, take frequent shade or indoor breaks, watch for signs of heat illness, and be prepared for the advisory to possibly extend into Friday.
