Lights Still Out For 1,800 In Santa Cruz Co.; PG&E Makes Repairs
A weekend windstorm shut off power to more than 10,000 in Santa Cruz County, but many customers are still in the dark, PG&E said.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Some 1,800 Santa Cruz County buildings remained without power Tuesday morning after heavy winds on Sunday shut off power to more than 65,000 Pacific Gas & Electric Company customers in the Bay Area and 10,000 in the county.
Crews came out in full force Tuesday morning to restore power after having difficulty accessing some locations overnight due to closed roads and dangerous conditions, said PG&E spokesperson Andrea Menniti in an email.
"We thank our customers for their patience while we work to safely restore power," she wrote.
