There is a natural intelligence moving through all living things — a subtle life force that restores balance, regulates the nervous system, and supports the body’s innate capacity to heal.
Reiki is one way of learning to work with that living energy. Reiki is often translated as Universal Life Energy — the vitality that flows through and connects all life. Reiki is simple, intuitive, and calming. Many people experience it as a return to coherence — a settling of the body and mind into their natural rhythm.
In this hands-on Reiki 1 training, you will learn how to connect with this gentle healing energy and begin working with it for yourself and others.
During this training you will receive your Level 1 Reiki attunements, opening the energetic channels that allow Reiki to flow through your hands. Once received, this connection remains with you for life.
 This training is appropriate for anyone who feels called to explore healing work, deepen their intuition, or cultivate a supportive practice for their own wellbeing. No previous experience is necessary.
Many people take Reiki 1 simply to support their own healing and nervous system regulation. Others go on to integrate Reiki into their professional work as therapists, bodyworkers, yoga teachers, educators, caregivers, or community healers.
Trista Mallory Glazowski is a Reiki Master in the Usui lineage and the founder of Zabet Glows, a Santa Cruz–based practice devoted to flower essence support, energy and sound healing.
Her path into energy healing began after the death of her grandmother, which sparked a deeper curiosity about healing, presence, and the subtle ways we support one another through life’s transitions.
She received her Reiki 1 training in 2016 and Reiki 2 in 2017 at Maha Rose in Brooklyn, New York. In 2018, shortly after the birth of her first daughter, she completed her Reiki Master training, guided by her sister — a Reiki Master, Interfaith Minister, and Nurse.
Today Trista shares Reiki through both private sessions and trainings, emphasizing grounding, energetic awareness, and helping people reconnect with their intuition and their body’s innate capacity for balance and coherence.

Kate Clemens, PA-C
Kate is a licensed Physician Assistant, holistic health coach, and founder of New Mindscape in Capitola, CA. With over 20 years of experience in both conventional and alternative wellness, Kate blends clinical expertise with intuitive healing to guide others toward deep transformation.
Her diverse background includes certifications in yoga instruction, craniosacral therapy, nutrition, and multiple bodywork modalities. She holds a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Yale School of Medicine and is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and United States Naval Academy.
Kate’s passion lies in creating safe, sacred spaces where individuals can reconnect with their inner wisdom. Through her work at New Mindscape, she offers ketamine-assisted treatment programs that integrate mindfulness, somatic practices, and gut-brain healing to support emotional resilience and mental clarity.
James White, MD
James is a medical doctor boarded in Emergency Medicine. He practiced at some busy medical centers where he continually advanced his clinical skills and knowledge base including at Kaiser where he taught 3rd year ER residence and sat on the Quality Review Committee. 
Dr. White has always had a diverse interest in the practice of medicine and has sought out complimentary approaches. He has significant experience in the ER use of Ketamine and is an expert on its uses in the emergency setting. As the use for Ketamine in the treatment of resistant depression and anxiety has become more widely known and studied, Dr. White took some additional training in its use for this purpose under the tutelage of Ketamine pioneer and psychiatrist Dr. Phil Wolffson. Its practical purposes have become increasingly clear, that it can be extremely beneficial in decluttering a disorganized mind allowing the issue at hand to be identified and clarity to be restored. It is further felt that there is a group wisdom present when journeying in a small group that aids in the process of enlightenment.

Hawthorn — Heart protection, threshold crossing, attunement to unseen worlds Hawthorn carries the energy of the heart—protective, steady, and quietly perceptive. Long associated with thresholds, it is considered a gatekeeper plant, supporting movement between the seen and unseen, the known and the emerging. Working as both protector and guide, it helps create a sense of safety within the heart so deeper perception can arise without overwhelm, strengthening both discernment and emotional resilience. As this steadiness gathers in the chest, it allows for a gentle opening—where grief can move, intuition becomes clearer, and the heart begins to orient not only to what is visible, but to the subtler layers of experience that surround us. 
 Flower essences and sound baths both work through the subtle energy body, meeting us beneath the thinking mind. Together, they create a gentle but powerful container that supports the nervous system in shifting toward the parasympathetic state — the place where repair, digestion, integration, and deep healing occur. Sound provides structure and rhythm for the body to soften into, while the flower essence offers a steady vibrational presence that helps the system reorganize from within. Neither forces change; instead, they invite coherence.
 During the session, each participant will receive a personal mini flower essence along with a description card. This essence is meant to be taken home and used in the days following the sound bath as a way of holding the vibration found in the sound bath — a small, tangible reminder of the frequency you touched and the qualities you’re cultivating. Many people find this helps them stay connected to the work as they move back into daily life, allowing the effects of the session to unfold gradually and organically.

Abigail Kaun will narrate a newly abridged text to accompany Stravinsky’s A Soldier’s Tale, which blends musical genres performed by 7 instrumentalists and spoken word, telling the story of a battle-worn soldier who bargains with the Devil, surrendering his violin for a magical book. Saturday also features a new work, 7 Dances, by Brian Raphael Nabors and a hair-raising duo for flute and percussion by Payton MacDonald.

Your lower body is your foundation—and it works hard to keep you moving and adapting every single day. Whether it's years of sitting, old injuries, or simply the wear of a life well-lived, tension has a way of accumulating in the hips, low back, knees, and ankles. Over time, the fascia in these areas can become dense and restricted, limiting your flexibility, compromising your stability, and leaving you feeling stuck—literally and figuratively. In this workshop, we will work deeply with the fascia throughout the lower body and more. Fascia is the connective tissue that holds the bones, ligaments, muscles, organs, and just about everything else down to the cellular level. We will move, open, and breathe, allowing your body to release what it has been holding and restore its natural capacity for ease, adaptability, and strength. To help us integrate, we will complete the session with a 15 minute Reiki-infused gong bath that will support your body in the process of grounding and renewal. Fascial Maneuvers is a powerful up-and-coming modality developed by Human Garage that allows the body to heal itself by utilizing unique postures, breath, and movement. This process frees up restrictions in the body, allows for better mobility, and helps break through blockages. With a clear intention, these techniques work on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level, bringing balance, harmony, and empowerment to the human experience. You will leave feeling more rooted in your body, more fluid in your movement, and reset from the ground up—ready to walk back into your life with steadier ground beneath your feet.
