Deputies Go Grocery Shopping For Elderly Santa Cruz County Man
"They made a list, headed out and dropped off the goods for their new friend," the sheriff's office said.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Two Santa Cruz County Sheriff's deputies stopped by to perform a welfare check on an elderly resident and ended up leaving with a grocery list.
Deputies Jacob Cooper and Nick Solano were asked to stop by the man's house after his neighbors noticed he hadn't been on his routine walk to the grocery store in a few weeks. The man was home, but needed things from the store, the sheriff's office said.
"They made a list, headed out and dropped off the goods for their new friend," the sheriff's office wrote.
