Drug Drop-Off Boxes At Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Centers

A medication disposal drop-off box is available at sheriff's centers in Felton, Santa Cruz, Aptos and Watsonville.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Got leftover medications that you'd like to get rid of? The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office has medication drop-off kiosks at five sheriff's centers throughout the county.

Two-thirds of young adults and teens who say they abuse medication report getting it from family, friends and acquaintances, according to the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids. Expired or unused medication should be disposed of, preferably at a drug disposal program, the partnership said.
