SANTA CRUZ, CA – APRIL 11, 2011 – The goal of the Santa Cruz Rejuvenation Festival is to bring the community together to celebrate healthy and green living, the arts, and spirituality, according to event organizer, Jahred Namaste. “We envision this event becoming part of the Santa Cruz cultural fabric. The Santa Cruz Rejuvenation Festival is patterned after two large northern California events, the Harmony Festival and EarthDance, but unlike those events, it will be free and held downtown for easy access,” he explained.
Namaste is a member of the Santa Cruz music collective Love Eternal, and co-owner, OmMamaOm Productions who is presenting the event along with Universal Life Church Minister, Robert Seals, who is the founder of the Chico Goddess Temple, and the inventor of the Klean Kanteen, the original, stainless steel water bottle.
The Santa Cruz Rejuvenation Festival will take place on Saturday, May 14 from 10 am to 5 pm at San Lorenzo Park, 137 Dakota Ave, Santa Cruz, CA. Admission is free. More information and a detailed schedule of events can be found at: www.rejuvenationfestival.com.
