Bill Raney Reads From Letters to Zerky

Please join us as author Bill Raney reads from and discusses his book Letters to Zerky. In the spring of 1967, Bill, his wife JoAnne, and their young son headed to Europe. They made it a trip of a lifetime, visiting Europe, Southern Asia, and Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, Thailand, and China. During the trip Bill wrote letters to his son Zerky who was too young to remember the adventure. Tragically, both Zerky and JoAnne died shortly after their return from traveling. Forty years laters Bill reread the letters and wrote a book chronicling the adventure. This event is part of our Adult Summer Reading Program: One World, Many Stories. Ask for details at any branch.
