Everyone is invited to Experience Clay , presented by Susana Arias, at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History on Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17 from 10am-5pm. The Museum’s Abbott Square and ground floor will be a discovery area, allowing visitors to experience clay in all shapes, sizes and forms. Outstanding local artists will be giving Demonstrations, Presentations, and low-cost Workshops. Children, teens and adults are invited to get their hands dirty and discover this exquisite mud!
$5/day demo entry fee for ages 10 and above. Pre-registration to workshops is recommended.
I just received a Patch email with the "Experience Clay" listing for July 16-17 listing as taking place at the SC Museum of Natural History. This is not correct. This event is being hosted by the Museum of Art and History at the McPherson Center in downtown Santa Cruz, not out on East Cliff Drive.
