Scarlett has a quirky sense of art humor, and is so happy to have found a town that supports and appreciates that. She has been hard at work on 3D creatures that are currently having a party of their own in her living room. Celebrate midtown with us, Saffron and Genevieve will be transformed into a fairytale wonderland for the month of April, and Friday the 6th it’s the place to be.

Elsbeth loves a great many things in this wondrous world, a few of which are: tall tales, worn spine-broken books, creative collaborations, creatures of all shapes and sizes (real and imaginary), the hum of her fiancés’ electric typewriter, hunting for material castaways, the smell of wood, dress-up parties, and knowing that she will never know everything life has to teach. This art show, “Fabled Creatures”, is a tribute to all of these things. Elsbeth is a born and bred San Diegan, but has a deep relationship with the entirety of the California Coast; she is excited to call Santa Cruz her new home.
