On Monday, March 21st the Kuumbwa Jazz Center is pleased to host the Jim Hall Quartet featuring Greg Osby, Steve LaSpina and Joey Baron.
Ask any great jazz guitarist for a list of progenitors; very few will fail to mention Jim Hall. Perhaps best known for his cutting-edge work with Bill Evans, Hall has always carried a torch of uncompromising musicianship. Hall also holds the rare distinction of being among an elite cadre of artists awarded an NEA Jazz Masters Fellowship. Hall’s quartet features Steve LaSpina (bass), Joey Baron (drums) and special guest saxophonist Greg Osby.
