East Bay Express: "the brainiest, most literate comedy tour it's smart, it's heady, it gets to the very edge of what's tolerable." SF Weekly: "the funniest comedy show we've ever seen." SF Chronicle: "definitely not the same old stand-up. It touched a nerve." Portland Mercury: "These laughs kill fascists."
Nato and Kamau launched Laughter Against The Machine in 2008 as an issue-oriented comedy show where the comedians and the audience to expect to be challenged to laugh and think at the same time. Nato and Kamau wanted a comedy show with no preconceived expectations, no party lines, and certainly no cheerleading, because they have beef with everybody, including themselves.
