Musical Arts of Santa Cruz and the Santa Cruz Chorale welcomes as its guest choir the Cuesta Chamber Singers, Cuesta college's premiere choral ensemble from San Luis Obispo, in a concert entitled "Love & Light". Under the direction of conductor John Knudson, the singers perform works of great American composers: Samuel Barber, Jeffrey Vans, Eric Whitacre, and Morten Lauridsen. The ensemble has received top honors at the California International Choral Competition and the Vokal Total Festival in Austria. The Santa Cruz Chorale will join them in performing three of the program pieces.
