The event will be held at the Cypress Lounge which now serves island food by the Pono Island Grill. The event features Kalae "Bobo" Miles
Kalae is a gifted hula dancer and singer of both traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music. He has performed extensively in the US and Japan over the last several years, taking the Aloha Spirit wherever he goes. An ambassador of Aloha, Kalae has performed and taught Hawaiian music, hula, language and culture over the past 20 years.
Dust of your Hula skirts, coconut bras, bring your uke and belly up to the tiki bar and prepare to have some fun.

There will be hula lessons, a ukulele jam and games for all. Bring friends and family! (children welcome) Pono Island Grill will be offering a special $10 Teriyaki Bowl with some proceeds going to the Diversity Center as well as their full menu.
Donation of $8 to benefit the Santa Cruz Diversity Center is requested at the door.
