A Community of Artists will show recent work at its fifth exhibition at the Felix Kulpa Gallery June 3-June 26, 2011. Work will include paintings, photography, prints, mixed media, and video. A reception to meet the artists is on First Friday, June 3, 5:30-9:00 pm.This year the group is holding a raffle of art donated by 16 of the artists. Proceeds will go to the Felix Kulpa Gallery, in appreciation for the support of its imaginative direction Robbie Schoen, the gallery director, has given to local artists. Tickets ($5 each or 5 for $20) are available at the Gallery; the drawing will be on Opening Night June 3.The Community of Artists includes traditional and non-traditional photographers Mark Wainer, Tim Kelly, Jim McKenzie, Ted Orland, Lisa Rose, and Jack Johnson, Helen Wallis, Catharina Marlowe; mixed media artists Sara Friedlander, A. Pike, Susan Dorf, Sally Jorgensen, Karen Kvenvold Bailey, Ken Koenig, Dennis High, and Judy Johnson Darrow.
