Following in South Africa’s longstanding tradition of a cappella vocal groups, Overtone delivers material ranging from folk songs to Top 40 with a hefty dose of pop savvy and sensibility…delivered in four languages, no less! After a chance performance for Dina Eastwood, the group was featured on the soundtrack for Clint Eastwood’s film Invictus. This seven-man operation offers showbiz verve and gutsy panache, all while navigating tricky melodies and weaving intricate harmonies.
