“Pinocchio and Carlo Collodi”, tells the story we all know from its very inception-the day Carlo Collodi decided to write it. Collodi, a reputed gambler, draws from the people around him, a creditor, a landlady, a beautiful fiancé, to create a fictional world of villains, whales and a beautiful Fairy. Pinocchio and Carlo’s paths cross again and again, as they get themselves in and out of trouble and arrive at what it means to be real in this world. The production is filled with colorful characters, one very large mammal, and Italian music.
