As part of Aptos Yoga Center’s second anniversary, all-day celebration, Kathleen Avalon will perform a puppet show of the uplifting Jataka tale,“Golden Foot.” A royal stag is captured by a hunter who then has a change of heart. After the puppet show, Kathleen will guide children in making butterflies out of felted wool. Avalon is the director of The Magic Garden Preschool/Homeschool. Waldorf trained, her specialty is puppetry arts. Inspired by Puppets for Peace, she has given performances and led puppet making workshops for many years.Learn more about other free events taking place during the day at their website.
