The Santa Cruz High football team begins Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League play this Saturday at San Lorenzo Valley High in Felton.
SLV (1-3) won the league last fall, but struggled in the pre-season. Santa Cruz comes into the game winners of three of four, including a convincing 40-14 victory over No. Salinas Friday night.
Kick-off is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
