One of the best acoustic bands performing today, these three music mavericks, Olov Johansson: nyckelharpa (keyed fiddle), Mikael Marin: viola & violin, and Roger Tallroth: guitar, perform original compositions written with the energetic spirit and "icy" edge of traditional Scandinavian music. Väsen's seven band albums, and the performer's solo albums have all been releasted to critical acclaim.
