UCSC Chamber Singers

On the evening of Saturday, March 5th come and see the UCSC Chamber Singers, guest directed by Professor Leta Miller. The UCSC Chamber Singers perform a varied concert mostly of Americana, including deeply serious pieces as well as several lighter, humorous works. Guest directed by Professor Leta Miller Judith Zaimont: several works using texts by Shakespeare (a cappella chorus) Cecil Effinger: Four Pastorales for chorus and oboe William Mathias: Three settings of Shakespeare texts Samuel Barber: The Coolin and Sure on this Shining Night Randall Thompson: The American Mercury and selected movements from the Staff Necromancer Settings of spirituals by Moses Hogan and Elmer Keeton. 

This event is open to the public and will take place in the Music Center Recital Hall.
