Children's Theater is proud to present the C.S. Lewis classic “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” No experience is necessary and everyone who auditions will receive a part! Children aged 7 to 13 only! Rehearsals are a 13-day class.
Auditions will be held the first 3 days of class: Monday, Feb. 14, Tuesday, Feb. 15 and Tuesday Feb. 22 (No class Monday 2/21). Individual rehearsal schedules will be set after the play is cast. Rehearsals will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Final dress rehearsals will be held at the Louden Nelson Community Center the week of April 4-7. Performances take place on Friday, April 8 at 7:00 pm with a Saturday matinee on April 9 at 2:00 pm. Parent volunteers are an essential part of children's theater. Parents may help with rehearsals, costumes, props and more. Parents volunteering with rehearsals must be fingerprinted. The City of Santa Cruz will pay for fingerprinting. A material fee of $10.00 is due to the instructor in the first class.
