SANTA CRUZ, CA — A man was arrested on Sunday night after police officers found a very illegal Valentines Day item in his car — a heart shaped meth rock.

"We don’t think this is the type of rock your significant other was hinting at for Valentine’s Day," the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office wrote on Facebook.

While conducting a traffic stop, a deputy found 30 grams worth of meth and most of it was shaped as a heart.

"While it’s fitting for the day, it’s still super illegal," officers wrote. "The rock weighed about a half oz, we’re not sure what this converts to in carats, but maybe just go with chocolates and roses next year instead."
