Injured Santa Cruz Firefighters Released From Hospital
The firefighters were treated and released from a hospital today.

SANTA CRUZ, CA -- Three firefighters who were injured while escaping a fallen tree during the Buzzard Fire in Santa Cruz County on Sunday have recovered, Cal Fire officials said.
The firefighters were treated and released from a hospital today, and the 2-acre fire was contained at about 8 a.m. today, according to Division Chief Jonathan Cox.
The firefighters are off-duty and only suffered minor injuries, according to Cox.

The fire began at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday near Eureka Canyon and Buzzard Lagoon roads in the Forest of Nisene Marks State Park.
Crews are on scene mopping up debris and Cox said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
