Family Service Agency of the Central Coast is asking the community to remember seniors in care facilities by donating used IPad tablets.
Press release from Family Service Agency of the Central Coast:
June 10, 2020
Family Service Agency of the Central Coast is asking the community to remember seniors in
care facilities by donating used IPad tablets. Most care facilities aren’t allowing visitors right
now and seniors aren’t able to see family members. An IPad can allow residents to see their
family via various video apps. This can help brighten their day and reduce some of the social
isolation and loneliness they may feel.
IPads can also be used to play music and help to brighten a senior’s day.
