Man Saves Santa Cruz Co. Family's Pets From House Fire: Report
A Ring security camera captured the moment a man discovered that a house in his neighborhood caught fire and saved the homeowner's pets.

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA — A man rescued a family's four pets after he discovered that their house in Santa Cruz County had caught fire while he was out jogging — and the moment was captured by a Ring security camera, NBC reported.
The man was running in a Scotts Valley neighborhood when he spotted smoke billowing from a house on the block. No one was home, but the man was able to contact homeowner Courtney Polito through her Ring camera.
"I saw him running back and forth," Polito told NBC's WTHR. "So I answered it and he said, 'Hello, do you see there's smoke coming out of the top of your house?'"
