Ring Camera Captures CA Woman Giving Birth On Her Front Lawn

VACAVILLE, CA — A pregnant California woman stepped outside last week with her husband to head to the hospital to give birth when she realized she couldn't make it past the front lawn — where moments later, she delivered her son.

The scene was caught on the couple's Ring security camera, KCRA reported.

On Thursday, Vacaville resident Emily Johnson began having contractions a week earlier than her expected due date. As her contractions started getting closer, Emily and her husband Michael Johnson rushed out the door to head to a hospital just five minutes away, People reported. As she approached the passenger's seat of the vehicle, she realized it was too late.

"I'm just going to get on the grass. I'm just going to be here. This is my spot," Emily recounted to KCRA reporters. "...I was hoping he was going to come early, but we never really knew."
