Reward Offered By Family Of Aptos Hit-And-Run Victim
The victim, 25, suffered major injuries in Saturday incident.

A $5,000 reward is being offered by the family of a woman who suffered major injuries in a hit-and-run collision over the weekend in Santa Cruz County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A car had struck Nicole Brown, 25, of Aptos, as she walked on a sidewalk on Treasure Island Avenue west of Winfield Way in the Rio Del Mar neighborhood around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, CHP officials said.
The car was speeding when it swerved onto the sidewalk and struck Brown, according to the CHP. She was transported to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose for injuries that were considered life-threatening, but she is now in stable condition, CHP officials said.

The driver of the vehicle was seen leaving west on Treasure Island Avenue, according to the CHP. Brown’s family is offering the reward for any information leading to an arrest in the case, CHP officials.
