Ryan Coonerty Named Santa Cruz County Board Chair
Coonerty replaces Supervisor Zach Friend, and is expected to serve a one-year term.
From Santa Cruz County: The Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday unanimously elected Ryan Coonerty as the Board Chair for 2019, and Supervisor Greg Caput as Vice Chair.
"It's an honor to be selected by my peers as Chair. As always, my focus will be on delivering outstanding services to our residents and protecting our values in this volatile political time," Coonerty said. "Santa Cruz County is an amazing place. We will work to ensure it continues to be so both now and for future generations."
Coonerty replaces Supervisor Zach Friend, and is expected to serve a one-year term.
