School Bus Crash Under Investigation In Santa Cruz County

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — The California Highway Patrol is investigating a school bus collision reported in unincorporated Santa Cruz County near Corralitos Monday morning, officials said. The crash, which brought down power lines after the bus sheared off a pole, was reported just before 8 a.m. Casserly and Wheelock roads are closed for the investigation, according to the CHP. A Sig-alert was issued for the area just after 8:30 a.m.

No one was injured during the wreck and all of the children have been safely evacuated from the bus. No other information is available.
