Santa Cruz Officers Save Man's Life With CPR
Officers didn't hesitate to help a man found unresponsive. Police and medics saved his life.
SANTA CRUZ, CA β Three Santa Cruz police officers performed CPR for a half hour last night and helped save a man's life.
Police said they received a call of an unresponsive man around 8:40 p.m. Thursday and found him in a Front Street parking lot. Officers immediately started CPR and continued for 35 minutes while medics tried to get a pulse.
He began breathing and was taken to the intensive care unit, said Chief Andy Mills.

"In spite of all going on (the department) is still there for you," he said.
