Scotts Valley Man Goes Missing; Family Concerned

He was last seen Sunday heading out to visit a friend.

A Scotts Valley man who left to visit a friend in Corralitos Sunday has gone missing, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office.

Adam Smith, 31, left his home in the 700 block of Glen Canyon Road in Scotts Valley at 9:30 p.m. Sunday and has not been seen since, sheriff’s officials said. His family reported him missing Monday at 6:26 p.m.

Smith has medical issues that place him at risk if not treated, according to the sheriff’s office.

He is described as a white man, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 210 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes and possibly a red goatee. He was last seen wearing a green knit hat, green fleece jacket and black gym pants, sheriff’s officials said.

He was driving a gray Ford Focus with California license plate number 6RBA923.
