Shooter At Large In Suspected Gang-Motivated Incident

The suspect in what police believe to be a gang-motivated shooting in Watsonville this morning is at large, police said.

Officers responded at about 12:35 a.m. to Marin Street where a suspect fired shots into a home, according to police.

When officers arrived they learned that several shots had been fire into the home by a single person.

That person fled the area in a gray sedan that was parked near the intersection of Marin Street and Manana Lane, police said.

Police said the sedan was last seen speeding west on Marin Street as it left the area. No one was injured in the shooting, police said.
