Tablets In The Voting Booth? Santa Cruz County Debuts New System
Santa Cruz County offers voters the option to vote on old-school paper, or use a tablet to vote electronically, KSBW reported.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — The days of voting on paper may not be in the rear-view mirror yet, but Santa Cruz County is debuting a new electronic voting system for the 2020 primary election, KSBW reported.
The county leased 150 tablets for Election Day, the station reported. Voters enter a user-specific code, choose various settings and vote.
The county said the system is safe to use, but some voters told the station they were skeptical of an electronic voting system.
