Traffic Update: Lane Reopens On CA-17 In Scotts Valley

Through much of the late morning and early afternoon, traffic has been backed up to Granite Creek Road/Scotts Valley Drive.

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA – A traffic snarl Tuesday on Highway 17 through Scotts Valley is slowly clearing for commuters, according to the California Highway Patrol. Guardrail repairs by Caltrans on the southbound side of the highway forced a lane closure between Mount Hermon Road and El Rancho Drive/Madrona Drive. Through much of the late morning and early afternoon, traffic has been backed up to Granite Creek Road/Scotts Valley Drive. The work ended around 2 p.m. Tuesday, according to CHP officer J. Trenabo.
