Two Santa Cruz County Residents Killed In Auto Crash in New Mexico
A man, 40, also suffered critical injuries in the accident.

Two Santa Cruz County residents died in a car crash in New Mexico early this morning, according to the New Mexico Department of Public Safety.
Chelsea Lawson, 29, and Natasha Siegel, 6, were residents of Scotts Valley.
The crash occurred sometime around 1 a.m. on Interstate Highway 40, west of Santa Rosa, New Mexico, after the right rear tire blew out. Their 1997 Ford Explorer veered into the median, rolled, and came to rest on the other side of the roadway, according to officers.

Lawson and Siegel, both of whom were passengers, were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the vehicle, suffering fatal injuries as a result of the crash, according to officers.
Aaron Siegel, 40, also from Scotts Valley, suffered critical injuries.

He was airlifted to the University of New Mexico Hospital.
