Carve a linoleum surface to produce a printing block, then use on different kinds of paper to explore the range of looks and the quality of multiples that this method can provide. Linoleum block printing is a form of relief, the oldest kind of printmaking, where the raised parts of the block transfer ink while the parts to be left un-inked are removed.

Upon graduation from California State University, Northridge with a B.A. in printmaking in 2013, Zeina Baltagi co-foun...ded the Valley Print Studio with fellow artist Miles Lewis in Woodland Hills. She currently teaches classes at LA Music and Art School, in East L.A. Baltagi recently exhibited work in ‘Biomythography’ curated by Jessica Wimbley and Chris Christian at Claremont Graduate University. In September 2015, she will be exhibiting in the second installment of ‘Biomythography’ at California Lutheran University, and co-curating with A. Parking and Transport: Parking is $1 for first 2.5 hours in Parking Structure 6 (2nd between Broadway and Santa Monica), each 30 min. thereafter $1.50, max $14. At 120 Broadway, flat $5 after 4pm and weekends. At the Civic Auditorium lot at 1855 Main St; $5 all day, every day. Meters on Ocean Avenue; $2/hr maximum 3 hours. Call 310-458-2239 to confirm availability, preferably by the Tuesday before class starts; plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of class; many classes do not allow drop ins.

Refunds/Transfers: Full refunds given if class is cancelled before taking place. For any other reason, $15 processing fee for each multisession activity refunded; one-time classes & expended material fees are nonrefundable.
