Stacie brings her long-running and much-beloved storytelling workshop What’s the Story? to 1450 Ocean. Everyone has a story they want to tell. Whether you’re creating a memoir, screenplay, stage play, one-person show, or even if you have no idea what you want to write, What’s the Story? is a great place to figure out what you want to say and how! For your session with Stacie, please bring a page of your writing about something - anything - that means a lot to you. It doesn’t have to be “good” so don’t sweat it!

Short classes make parking a breeze! $2.50 for three hours at Structure 6, right around ...the corner.

Stacie Chaiken is a Los Angeles-based writer-performer whose solo plays include Looking for Louie, What She Left, and The Dig. She has appeared on and off-Broadway, and in theaters all over the world. The founder of What’s the Story? Workshop, Stacie is a Fulbright Scholar in the field of Story and Performance. Formerly on the faculty of the USC School of Theatre, she continues to teach university master classes in autobiographical performance and personal story.
