2 Santa Monica Schools To Hold Vaccine Clinics

John Adams Middle School and McKinley Elementary School will host vaccine clinics on Monday and Tuesday for anyone over the age of five.

SANTA MONICA, CA — The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District will host three vaccine clinics for all community members over the age of five in coming weeks, the district said.

The first clinic will be hosted at John Adams Middle School on Monday and the second will be at McKinley Elementary School on Tuesday.

  • Nov. 29: John Adams Middle School, 2425 16th Street, 2:30 p.m. to dusk
  • Nov. 30: McKinley Elementary School, 2401 Santa Monica Boulevard, 2:30 p.m. to dusk
  • Dec. 1: Malibu High School, 30215 Morning View Drive, 2:30 p.m. to dusk

Participants are required to sign up for an appointment using these links, grouped by age and vaccine manufacturer.

"We continue to encourage vaccinations for everyone age five and up. Our staff is now fully vaccinated. Student vaccinations in secondary schools have reduced the number of students out on quarantine due to exposure," Superintendent Ben Drati said in a news release. He added: "thank you for doing what is best to keep your family safe and your community safe."

Second doses or boosters will be given out at John Adams Middle School on Dec. 21 and Malibu High School and McKinley Elementary School on Dec. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
