Presented by Santa Monica's Office of Sustainability & the Environment along with American Cinematheque & Sustainable Works

DamNation is a powerful film odyssey across America that explores the sea change in our national attitude from pride in big dams as engineering wonders to the growing awareness that our own future is bound to the life and health of our rivers.

A Panel Discussion
A Panel discussion moderated by Connor Everts, elder advisor to theEnvironmental Justice Coalition for Water and Executive Director of the Southern California Watershed Alliance will follow the screening.

Panelist will include; Kim O’Cain, Water Resource Specialist with the City of Santa Monica’s Office of Sustainability and the Environment, Jacques Leslie, journalist and author of Deep Water: The Epic Struggle Over Dams, Displaced People and the Environment and Clark Stevens, Executive Officer of the Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains and an architect specializing in habitat restoration.
